My Skin Care Products...

The temperature is dropping, the wind is picking up and the leaves are falling. So this means our skin needs Love and hydration more than ever. In this blog post I am going to be sharing with you my favorite skin care products which are affordable and worth every penny.

1) Aveeno Clear Complexion Cleansing Foam-

I have only been using this Cleanser for a week now and I only have positive feedback. My skin has been so much clearer and I haven't had any break outs since using it. Also my skin has been so soft and hydrated since using it.
Sadly this range isn't sold in the UK, we only have the lotions and creams. But luckily my cousin is a air-hostess so she is always on high demand to get me my products.

2)Aveeno Moisturising cream-

I've tried hundreds of Moisture's and this one is my favorite by far. It is amazing for people with dry skin and I've found that since using this cream my psoriasis has been so much better and this is perfect to use after the Aveeno Cleanser.

3)Aveeno positively radiant CC Cream-

I've found this product has been really good for my skin type (which is oily), As i've found it drys most of the oil up but in the cold weather I sometimes find this foundation can be to dry for my skin but I find it is better if I mix it with a bit of the Aveeno cream or if I put a good amount of the Aveeno cream on first.
Sadly this product is also not sold in UK stores but you can find it on Amazon.

4) Boots essential skin care products

These products are cheap and everyone can afford them and I've tried loads of products to help my skin out and these and the Aveeno ones I've found okay for my skin and I have found they have worked really well. I use the Clay mask once or twice a week to have a mini pamper session on my own.
Boots Essentials   £1.50 each or 3 for £3

5)Nivea Gentle exfoliating scrub

This scrub is super gentle on the skin and super great for sensitive skin. I've found this amazing for getting rid of all those black heads. I use this up to twice a week to freshen up my skin.
Nivea face scrub

Hope this has helped you with finding your skin care products and Let me know if you try any of them out and what your thoughts are on them and let me
know if you have any good skin products
that you think I should try.

Wrapping up warm...

So the leaves are falling the mornings and evenings are darker and the temperature is defiantly dropping.  And I just love it! I've recently released that every item in my wardrobe is mostly only suited for the summer so I'm having to adapt everything to autumnal weather. But who cares cause I love layers.

Layering up...

For today's outfit I have decided to lay up my summer dungarees with a super fluffy mustard jumper, tights, some black boats and the outside of my parka jacket. (links will be left below).

Dungarees// Primark but sadly I couldn't find any on the Primark website because they don't have a wide selection on there but you could find some in any high street store.

Hope you have a lovely rest of the week x

Recipe: Banana and chocolate chip cake...

Hiiiiiiiiiii Guys sorry for lack of posts recently I have been super busy at college and getting used to the new routine. But I have finally found something that I love doing!

So today was my day off from college, I was meant to be doing homework but I've ended having a day full of baking and cooking. That's one of the lessons I miss from sixth form, Food Technology but I now have a free day off so I can bake as much as I like.

Firstly I made Jamie Olivers lentil and spiced carrot soup and it is amazing! I would definitely recommend trying out this soup.

Secondly I made a banana and chocolate chip cake and below I'm going to give you the recipe.

Ingredients-
2 Eggs
3 tbsp Milk
150g Caster sugar
225g Self raising flour
100g butter
2 very ripe bananas
50g chocolate chips
50g dark chocolate for icing

Method-

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees (I used a fan oven)

Firstly you need to measure all the ingredients out. Once done that Add the butter and sugar into a bowl and beat together, until the butter and sugar have creamed together.

Secondly add small amounts of egg and flour alternately, until you have a thick and  creamy consistency. Once all the egg and flour is mixed together add the milk and banana and mix well.

Save the best till last, since all the ingredients but one are all mixed together you can now start to add the chocolate  chips, I have said to add 50g of chocolate chips but you can add more or none at all.

Now Line a square or round tin with baking parchment ( if you want you can even make this recipe into cupackes).
Once the tin is lined you can now add the mixture.
Its now ready for the oven, cook for aorund 20-25 minutes or until slightly brown on top and cooked in the middle when you piece the inside.

Once the cake is cooked and slightly cooled you can now put on the melted chocolate in  a zigzag pattern using either a piping bag or a teaspoon.
 And enjoy!

Hope this cake goes as well for you as it did for me, if using this recipe to make your cake share your results with me either in the comments, by email or by my social media sites. I can't wait to see your photos.
Much love and enjoy baking x

Autumnal Fashion...

Autumn is finally here...... YES!  Even though I would have to say Summer is my favorite season, I also love Autumn because you can start lighting the Christmas candles and putting the fire on and best of all you can start wearing those big fluffy knits and those amazingly warm coats that you've been dying to wear since you packed them away.

As you can see in this photo of my chest of draws I have already started lighting my candles and I love it! If you have any amazing candles that you think I wold love leave me a comment and I'll check them out.

Autumnal Outfit:

For my Autumnal Outfit I have decided to pair up Topshop skinny jeans with a cream blouse and some brown brogues. Also I styled this outfit with my thick leather jacket because it isn't at all warm outside and I wanted to be extra comfy.

( Ignore the funny face! haha)

Hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend and a week filled with positivity and love x
